Microsoft introduced 3 versions of Windows 8
Microsoft Corporation the American multinational corporation who created the windows operating system has recently introduced their latest version of windows operating system called the windows 8. Now they are revealing 3 latest versions of Windows 8.
- Windows 8
- Windows 8 Pro
- Windows RT
Here " Windows 8 " will be the official name of the product for next x86/64 windows edition.
Windows 8 and Windows 8 Pro are the two editions for PCs and tablets that is powered by x86 processors that is both 32 and 64 bit.
Windows 8 : comes with an updated Windows explorer, multi-monitor support, task manager and the ability to switch between languages that was available previously in Enterprise and Ultimate editions.
"This single edition will only be available pre-installed on PCs and tablets powered by ARM processors and will help enable new thin and lightweight form factors with impressive battery life," said the company in a blog post.
Windows 8 Pro : is mainly designed for business and technical professionals. It comes with additional features like virtualisation, encryption, domain connectivity and PC management.
Windows RT : is also known as Windows on ARM or WOA [Web-oriented architecture] is the newest member of the Windows 8 family. It comes with a touch-optimized desktop versions of Microsoft PowerPoint, OneNote, Excel and Word.
